Funeral Service for Rev. Arlie Thomas Wade, 94, of Phenix City, Alabama, will be Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 1:00 pm CST at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Rev. Gene Garner and Rev. Kenneth Savage will officiate. Burial will follow in the Roxanna Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 11:00 am CST to 12:30 pm CST at Langley Funeral Home. Rev. Wade passed away on Monday, December 17, 2018 at his residence. He was born on May 25, 1924 in Randolph County, Alabama to Sam E. Wade and Rzora Prestridge Wade. He was an active member of Bellwood Church of God and had served as a pastor of several churches. Rev. Wade enjoyed playing the guitar, mandolin, and singing. He loved the time he spent with his family. He is survived by his wife of ten years, Ollie Wade of Phenix City; daughters, Sandra Mayeaux (Stan) of MS and Vikki Smith (Larry) of Orlando; sons, Tommy Wade (Donna) and Steve Wade both of Dothan; granddaughter, Angie Simpson (Bobby) of Camp Hill; Step-son, Jerome Butler (Jan) of Camp Hill; Ten grandchildren, Sixteen Great Grandchildren, and thirteen great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Winnie Fulghum, Ellen Gordon, and Terra Gilbert; and brother, Leroy Wade. Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.langleyfuneralhome.com.
