Mr. Richard "Dick" Miller

December 3, 1951 - May 4, 2022

Mr. Richard "Dick" Miller, 70, of Dadeville, Alabama and formerly of Peachtree City, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at his residence. He was born on December 3, 1951, in Williamsport, Pennsylvania to Robert Milton Miller and Ellen Louise Armstrong Miller. He was a member of Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church. Dick found the good in everyone, loved taking care of his family, volunteered when he was able, and loved doing anything with his sons. He enjoyed growing plants, cooking, working in the yard, boating, being an involved granddaddy, loved to tell stories, and traveled to all 50 states and several different countries. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Jean Preston Miller; sons, Jeffrey Preston Miller, and Stephen Chase Miller (Laura); granddaughters, Audrey Jean Miller and Lydia Sue Miller; and brother, Larry Keith Miller (Candy). He was preceded in death by his parents.
