Mrs. Twyla Pritchard Lightsey

Funeral Service for Mrs. Twyla Pritchard Lightsey, 61, of Tuskegee, Alabama, will be Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at 2:30 pm at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Pastor Mark Carlock will officiate. Burial will follow in the Eagle Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm at Langley Funeral Home. Mrs. Lightsey passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at her residence. She was born on November 3, 1960 in Alexander City, Alabama to Dilmus Pritchard and Mary P. Evers Coker. Twyla was an avid Alabama fan and former Tide Pride member. She loved feeding the birds and squirrels, working crossword puzzles, watching Christmas movies, and reading. She was also an excellent paino player and enjoyed singing in church. She loved her family very much, especially her beloved dog, Little Bit. She is survived by her common law husband, James "Sam" Chadwick of Tuskegee; daughter, Tami Harmon (Daniel) of Auburn; step-grandson, Oliver Harmon; granddaughter, Autum Chadwick; and brother, Randy Pritchard (Robbie) of Dadeville. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Ann McKelvey; and first husband, Bobby Lightsey.
