Mr. Aaron G. Duck's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mr. Aaron G. Duck, 83, of Dadeville, Alabama, will be Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 12:00 pm at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Bro. Terry Carter will officiate. Burial will follow in the Eagle Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 14, 2021 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am at Langley Funeral Home.
Mr. Duck passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 in the same room he was born in at his home. He was born on May 30, 1938 in Dadeville, Alabama to Hiram G. Duck and Edna Alice Thomas Duck. Mr. Duck loved his family dearly and was affectionately known as “Paw Paw or Uncle Aaron”. He retired after 33 years of service from Tallapoosa County. He was a member of Elder Congregational Christian Church and was a 50 plus year member of the Dadeville Lodge No. 71 Free & Accepted Masons. He also enjoyed fishing, working in the garden and cutting grass.
He is survived by his sons, Jessie Lee Duck (Sandie) and Jack Winfield Duck (Sandra); grandchildren, Brade Winfield Duck and Joshua Jessie Duck; and sister, Margaret White.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Robbie "Jean" Davis Duck; sons, John Aaron Duck and James Edward Duck; sister, Sarah Henley; brother, William Duck; and his parents.
