Funeral Service for Angie Simpson, 54, of Camp Hill, Alabama, will be Monday, March 11, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Iain Fuller will officiate. Burial will follow in the Roxana Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 11, 2024 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Langley Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Calvin Wallace, Ben Bass, Ken Crenshaw, Dennis Pitchford, Justin Scott, and Michael Ward.
Angelene, affectionately known by all who loved her as Angie, passed away on March 7, 2024, at the age of 54. Angie was a lifelong resident of Alabama, having been born on April 5, 1969, in Valley and bidding farewell to this world from Camp Hill. Angie's vibrant spirit and infectious laughter left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew her.
Angie's cherished memories live on through her devoted family. She is survived by her father, Herman Jerome Butler; her steadfast husband, Bobby Simpson; her daughters, Kristen Montgomery (Adam) and Christin Deupree (Josh); her sons, Iain Fuller (Jennifer), Benjamin Fuller (Krysta), Austin Simpson (Nichole), and Hunter Simpson; her brother, David Butler; and her sisters, Crystal Lucas and Lisa Carey. Angie was a delighted and proud grandmother to twelve grandchildren who brought endless joy to her days. Her legacy will be carried forward by the many lives she touched.Angie's life was preceded in death by her mother Pamela Marilyn Fullerton.
An innate sense of humor, boundless passion, and a loving nature defined Angie's approach to life. Her laughter was the music of family gatherings, and her love for Alabama Football, trips to the beach, and exploring the world through travel illustrated the breadth of her pursuit of happiness. As an enthusiast of antique vehicles, Angie found pleasure and companionship within the car show community, where her humor and passion fueled long-lasting friendships.
The world is undoubtedly a lesser place without Angie Simpson, yet her legacy of love, laughter, and the ability to live life to the fullest will continue to inspire all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
