Mr. Arnold "Pig" Vickery's Obituary
Funeral service for Mr. Arnold “Pig” Vickery, 58, of Dadeville, will be Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Bro. Wallace Mann will officiate. Burial will follow in the Dadeville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 9, 2015 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm at Langley Funeral Home.
Mr. Vickery passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at his residence. He was born on January 30, 1957 in Atmore, Alabama to Wilbert Vickery and Larncille Vickery. “Pig” loved riding his motorcycle and hunting. He loved his family very much and enjoyed playing with his grandbabies.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Jeannie Hicks Vickery of Dadeville; daughter, Dawn Vickery of Dadeville; son, David Vickery (Shipley) of Dadeville; grandchildren, Tyler Vickery, Ethan Vickery, Jazmine Vickery and Dawson Aaron; sister, Connie Vickery of Atmore; and brothers, William Vickery (Charlene), Earnest Vickery, Bruce Vickery and Mike Vickery, all of Atmore.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dennis Vickery.
