Mrs. Barbara Jean Leach's Obituary
Graveside Service for Mrs. Barbara Jean Leach, 77, of Dadeville, will be Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Eagle Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Taylor Gurley will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 18, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Langley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Leach passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at East Alabama Medical Center. She was born on December 11, 1942 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Frank Drozdik and Hazel Marie Knight. She was an active member of Eagle Creek Baptist Church and enjoyed attending Sunday School and Church services before her health failed. She was very handy and enjoyed making crafts and ceramics. She enjoyed going to the gym for exercise and was an excellent cook.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Larry Allen Leach of Dadeville; daughter, Melissa Carson (Steven) of Alexander City; sons, Kevin Aills of Palmetto, FL and Jerry Aills of Walla Walla, WA; grandchildren, Jennifer A. Culler, Casey Culler, Angelica Aills, Jerry John Aills, and Jakob Tyler Scarborough.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Frank Drozdik, Jr.
All visitations and services will be held in compliance with the mandated rules from Alabama Dept of Public Health.
