Mr. Barry L. Pitts' Obituary
Funeral Service for Mr. Barry L Pitts, 60, of Dadeville, will be Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 3:00 pm at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Pastor Miles Crouch will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm at Langley Funeral Home.
Mr. Pitts, also known as "Skeeter," passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023 at Lake Martin Community Hospital. He was born on January 16, 1963 in Ashland, Alabama to Herman Pitts and Geneva O'Neal Pitts. He loved to watch Alabama football and Dadeville football as well as hunting foxes and deer. He had many close friends and just loved living. Barry enjoyed helping people and his favorite hangout was E&J's Store. He loved watching his nieces and nephews participate in sports and cheering them on.
He is survived by his wife, Tina C. Pitts; sister, Sharon K. Goodwin; brothers, Roger (Vicky) Pitts, Ronny (Mona) Pitts; numerous nieces, nephews, special great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Geneva Pitts; sisters, Gail Marie Pitts, Peggy Pitts; and brother, Kerry Pitts.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Dadeville High School Football in memory of Barry Pitts, Championship of 1981, Class of 1982.
