Mrs. Bernice Rebecca Sims' Obituary
Mrs. Bernice Rebecca “Becky” Sims, age 72, of Auburn, passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 in Opelika. She was born on July 31, 1948 in Pike County, Alabama to Comer Jackson Sims and Bernice Irene Stephens Sims. Becky worked for many years in the Office of the Registrar at Auburn University. She enjoyed drinking coffee and talking with others, especially her sister Diane.
Becky is survived by her sister, Diane Sims Kilpatrick of Opelika; brother, Bobby Sims (Joyce) of Buttston; and several nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Milton Sims and Will Jim Sims; and niece, Darlene Sims.
A private burial will take place at Tallapoosa County Memory Gardens.
