Funeral Service for Mrs. Betty Grace Evers, 93, of Dadeville, Alabama, will be Sunday, February 20, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church of Dadeville. Rev. Dave Crosslin will officiate. Burial will follow in the Tallap Read Obituary

Berry Evers was the quintessential Southern Belle! She and my Mom Jane Owen Black were the best of friends!! She was always like a second Mom to me, so kind, sweet, and caring! I still cherish the beautiful pink china rose she gave me when I graduated from college, at the age of 45!! I loved her so and I know where she is!
Betty was truly one of the most beautiful people ever—so sweet & so lovely—always. Most of my early memories are from playing with Phil & Jimmy when we lived across the street. I’ll always remember Betty in the kitchen with black shorts & a turquoise tube top dancing to Running Bear on the radio, all of her Avon products, her pretty jewelry, her kindness, her beautiful smile, and pansies. She was a very special person.
Though we didn't know her personally we heard lovely things about her from Sharon and from Rachael Jones. Love and prayers from The Mermaids.
So sorry to hear about Ms. Betty, a real Christian lady who loved the Lord. My thoughts, and prayers are with her family, and friends.
