Mrs. Betty Jo Hunt's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Betty Jo Hunt, 86, of Dadeville, Alabama, will be Sunday, September 25, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Bethsaida Baptist Church in Furman, AL. Bro. Don Bell will officiate. Burial will follow in the Palmer Cemetery in Furman.
Mrs. Hunt passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at her residence. She was born on August 6, 1936 in Conway, South Carolina to Jeremiah Grant Hardee and Annie Jo Ard Hardee. She was a member of Bethsaida Baptist Church. She was a homemaker who loved to sew, decorate, and serve her church. She worked as a merchandising assistant for JC Penny's for many years in Selma, AL.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Ray (Lawrence) of Dadeville; son, Randall Hunt (Tina) of Brewton; grandchildren, Jared Lawson Ray, Andrew Christopher Ray, and Ashley Elizabeth Ray all of Auburn, Taylor Pace (Dylan) and Ryan Hunt (Megan) both of Brewton; great-grandchildren, Bailey Brown, Arabella Brown, and Kylee Pace; and sister, Martha Ann Welsh (Richard) of Conway, SC.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William D. Hunt; and brother, Winfred Hardee.
