Dr. Bobby Ned Duck's Obituary
Dr. Bobby Ned Duck, age 84 of Jasper, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.  He was the pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church, Buttston, AL for over 40 years.  His biggest and most often prayer was that his children and friends would be constant followers of Jesus and implement those values into all they met.  He was in the US Airforce, 4123rd A&E Maintron Stratwghv (SAC).  He attended Emmanuel Baptist University where he received two doctorates during his studies.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Eastside Baptist Church, funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m.  Rev. Jeff Allred and Rev. Don Graham will officiate. There also will be a Memorial Remembrance at Fellowship Baptist Church in Dadeville on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.  Dr. Duck will lie in state 1 hour prior at the church.  Burial will be at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery in Dadeville.
Mr. Duck was preceded in death by his Parents-Walter Ray and Mary Ella Caldwell Duck; Daughter-Lenora Dale Estes; Brothers-J.R. Duck and Clinton Duck; Grandparents.
He is survived by his Wife Linda Duck; Daughters-Cheryl Denise Deason (Richard) and Deborah Leigh Huff; Son-William A. Mitchell (Jennifer); Stepsons-Robert A. Hardy (Tawee) and Jerry E. Hardy (Jennifer); Sister-Adele Gregg (C.L.);  17 Grandchildren; 23 Great Grandchildren; 7 Great-Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Eastside Baptist Church Building Fund, to spread the word of Christianity as was the wish of  Dr. Duck.
