Bonnie Ruth Black Sandlin Funeral Services Will be held on Wednesday April 4 At 11:00 am at Langley Funeral Home in Dadeville, Al for Bonnie Ruth Black Sandlin 61 of Birmingham. She went to be with her Lord on Sun April 1, 2012. Dr Gary Wiggins will officiate the service and eulogy will be given by Jim Berry Black Jr with burial in Dadeville Cemetery. Bonnie graduated from Dadeville High School in 1968 and she graduated form Auburn University in the field of Medical Technology with honors. She worked at Russell Hospital and other labs in Birmingham.Bonnie loved her family and friends. Bonnie was preceded in death by her father William Ed Black II , her mother Ruth Evers Black and husband Clarence Bailey. Bonnie leaves to cherish her memories her husband of 23 years Bennie Frank Sandlin, her sisters Nelda (Tim) Choate, Melanie Black, brother William Ed Black III, nephew Christopher John Moon, Brother in law Leyland (Barbara) Sandlin, niece Belinda (Roger) Garner and family, Sister in law Marilyn Wiggins and neice Rhonna Rebecca Reid and family, sister in law Ellen Rose Mcdowell and nieces Susan (Steve) Smith and family and Mary (Steve) Farmer and family, dear friend Jim Kirksey and loving pet Fluffy. Pallbearers Christopher John Moon, Stanley Campbell, Jimmy Campbell, Jim Black, Bill Black,and Tommy Black Honorary Pallbearers Roger Pasley, Leyland Sandlin, Donald Black. Visatation will be Wed 9:30 - 11:00 am at Langley Funeral Home.
