Brandon Hamby's Obituary
Funeral service for Mr. Brandon Hamby, 37, of Dadeville, will be Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 2:30 pm at the First Baptist Church of Dadeville. Rev. Gary Wiggins will officiate. Burial will follow in the Tallapoosa County Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Dadeville.
Mr. Hamby passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Lake Martin Community Hospital. He was born on October 25, 1976 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to Edward E. Hamby and Betty Monroe Hamby. Brandon attended First Baptist Church of Dadeville. He was an avid Florida Gator fan. He loved his family very much and was happiest when they were together. He worked in security and maintenance at Stillwaters for several years and had recently started working for UPS. Brandon enjoyed fishing, trips to the beach, cooking on the grill, working in the yard and playing basketball with friends. Brandon was a friend to many and will be greatly missed.
Brandon is survived by his wife of 3 years, Angela Wolfe Hamby of Dadeville; son, Timothy John Christian of Dadeville; daughter, Tayler Nicole Christian of Dadeville; parents, Ed and Betty Hamby of Dadeville; sister, Kelly and Kevin Torgerson of Chelsea; nephews, Cooper and Hunter Torgerson of Chelsea; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Tim and Brenda Parker of Dadeville.
