Mr. C.L. Gregg's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mr. C.L. Gregg, 84, of Dadeville, Alabama, will be Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Fellowship Baptist Church. Dr. Reginald Gabel will officiate. Burial will follow in the Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Fellowship Baptist Church.
Mr. Gregg passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at his home. He was born on March 3, 1938 in Clay County, Alabama to Belmont and Lela Hodnett Gregg. Mr. Gregg loved his family dearly. He was an active member and Deacon for over 50 years at Fellowship Baptist Church and one of the founding members of the Buttston Volunteer Fire Department. He retired from West Point Pepperell after over 30 years of service. Mr. Gregg enjoyed woodworking, gardening, farming, fishing, traveling, and camping.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Adell D. Gregg; daughter, Deborah Ward (Kevin); son, Darryll Gregg (Bonnie); grandchildren, Stephanie Shurum, Christopher Ward (Nancy), Kyle Ward (Amanda), and Kayla Crouch (Brandon); great-grandchildren, Tyler Shurum (Ashley), Jacob Shurum (Bri), Penelope Ward, Chloie Crouch, and Connor Crouch; great great granddaughter, Abigail Shurum; sister, Carol Walker; and brother, Baron Gregg (Christine).
He was preceded in death by his parents.
