Mr. Danny Joe Sanders' Obituary
Mr. Danny Joe Sanders passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at his home. Born on Thursday, May 28, 1953 in Tallassee, Alabama, he was the son of Mr. Willie Joe Sanders and Mrs. Sara Mae Mann Sanders.
Danny was a funny and kind man who would do anything that you asked of him. He found enjoyment in fishing, hunting, football, and riding his motorcycle. If you wanted to get him to travel with you then a trip to the beach would always be the way to go. Danny was a loving husband of nearly 47 years, father, and granddaddy, or "Pop Pop," to his grandchildren. He never missed the chance to cheer them on while attending their sports events. His family was his world, but he held a special place in his heart for his Chihuahua fur-baby, Harley Joe, who became the perfect companion.
Danny is survived by his wife, Peggy Harvell Sanders; children, Donald (Rachel) Horton, Jason E (Rayne) Horton, Mickey Sanders, Alicia S. (Michael) Holley, Misty Sanders, Tim (Kimberly) Sanders; grandchildren, Dustin Horton, Delaney Horton, Kadence Horton, Courtney Hemphill, Kain Sanders, Noel Woods, Melanie Farnham, Gavin Sanders, Beau Holley, Dylan Smith, Sunni Woods, Bradley Sanders; great-grandchildren, Erin Sanders, Joey Hemphill, Kolton Sink; brother, David Sanders; sister, Joan (Toby) Cox; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Joe and Sara Mae Sanders.
Services will be held at a later date.
