Funeral Service for Mrs. Darlene Harper Woodall, 64, of Dadeville, Alabama, will be Monday, September 15, 2025, at 11:00 am at Lake Community Church. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery - Camp Hill. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 15, 2025, from 9:30 am to 11:00 am at Lake Community Church.
Darlene Harper Woodall, a beacon of kindness and generosity, passed away surrounded by her loving family. Born into the warm embrace of the Harper family, Darlene's spirited nature was evident from her early years. She graduated from Escambia County High School in 1979, carrying with her the values of hard work and dedication that she learned from her beloved parents, the late Bobby Phillip Harper and Betty Faye Harper.
Darlene's life was a testament to her unwavering faith as a Christian. She embodied the principles of love and charity, which guided her through every aspect of her life. Her heart found its match in Eddy Dewayne Woodall, and together they built a life filled with joy and companionship over 24 beautiful years in Dadeville, AL. Their union was a source of strength and dedication to all who knew them.
She was a devoted mother to her son, Bobby Walker, and a loving stepmother to Cortney Youree. Darlene's world was brightened by the laughter and smiles of her grandchildren, Emma Lewis Walker and Cooper Wayne Youree, who will carry her legacy of love forward. Her nurturing spirit extended to her siblings, Bobby Phillip Harper II and Donna Faye (Ken) Hamby, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond. Darlene's life was further enriched by the presence of her numerous nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in her heart.
