Mr. David Lamar Clanton, 62, of Dadeville, Alabama passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023 at his home. He was born on September 20, 1961 in Langdale, Alabama to Lamar Alexander Clanton and Frances Kinman Clanton. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. David enjoyed reading, horseback riding, motorcycles, and gardening
He is survived by his wife, Josie Clanton; daughter, Summer Morris; son, Lucas Clanton; two grandchildren; mother, Frances Clanton; sisters, Pamela Rowan (Roger) and Rita Taylor (David); and brother, Don Clanton.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lamar Alexander Clanton and brother, Dale Kinman Clanton.
A family memorial service will be scheduled at a later time.
