Mr. David Floyd's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mr. David Floyd, 56, of Dadeville, Alabama, will be Friday, August 20, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Langley Funeral Home. Rev. Charlie Horton and Bro. Johnny Pritchard will officiate. Burial will follow in the Dadeville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 20, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm at Langley Funeral Home. The family asks that guests wear masks and practice social distancing.
Mr. Floyd passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at residence. He was born on January 27, 1965 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Tilford Laverne Floyd and Elizabeth Fay Whittle Floyd. He was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was a member of 1983 State Championship team at Dadeville High School.
He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Elizabeth Floyd of Montgomery; son, David Laverne Floyd II (Kearstin) of Alexander City; parents, Tilford Laverne Floyd and Elizabeth Fay Floyd of Dadeville; grandchildren, Taylor Mann, Bayleigh Mann, Jaylynn Floyd, Reighlyn Floyd, Payslie Campbell, Katherine Floyd, Kysleigh Floyd, and Koleston Floyd; brothers, Daniel Floyd (Debbie), Dennis Floyd (Elaine) of Dadeville, and Dusty Floyd of Alexander City; caregiver, Jack Hubbard; nieces, Brooklyn Floyd, Cheyenne Floyd, Ansley Floyd, and Fallon Floyd; nephews, Tyler Floyd, Corbin Floyd, and Anderson Floyd.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Floyd; daughter, Patricia Floyd and grandmother, Berniece Whittle.
