Donald E. Patterson's Obituary
Funeral services for Mr. Donald E. Patterson, of Dadeville, will be held Tuesday, September 16, 2014, at 2:00 pm at the Langley Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Gary Wiggins officiating. Burial will follow in the Dadeville City Cemetery. Visitation will be from Tuesday, September 16, 2014, from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm at Langley Funeral Home.
Mr. Patterson retired from Russell Corporation as a Machine Technician and worked there for 43 years. He was a member of Dadeville First Baptist Church. He loved to quail hunt, watch football and basketball games, and help others. Mr. Patterson loved his family and especially his wife of 47 years, Sharon Boone Patterson.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Boone Patterson; brothers, Herbert Patterson (Martha), of DeFuniak Springs, Fl.; sisters-in-law, Peggy Moran and Sue Harris (Bobby), all of Dadeville; and brothers-in-law, Leon Boone (Sara), of Dadeville and Billy Boone, of Eclectic; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Mary Patterson; brothers, Bennie Patterson and Horace Patterson; and sister, Margie Teague.
