Mrs. Donna Lowe Hornsby's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Donna Lowe Hornsby, 66, of Tallassee, Alabama, will be Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at 3:00 pm at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Rev. Lenny Arnold will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Langley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hornsby passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023 at her home. She was born on April 4, 1957 in Opelika, Alabama to Thomas Lowe and June Jinks Lowe. She was a member of New Concord Baptist Church. Donna retired from GKN Aerospace. She loved spending time with her family at the beach and on Lake Martin. Donna also enjoyed spending time with her many friends.
She is survived by her husband, Clay Hornsby of Tallassee, AL; daughters, Shannon Dark (Derek) of Dadeville, AL and Laken Price (Justin) of Prattville, AL; sons, Michael Huff (Tiffany) of Alexander City, AL, Jeffrey Huff (Amanda) of Jacksons Gap, AL, and Brandon Hornsby of Tallassee, AL; grandchildren, Carli Graham (Josh), Baylee Huff, Brandon Huff, Justin Sheridan, Haley Sims (Zach), Kirklyn Dark, Dylan Dark, Dewayne Huff (Lani), Madison Haggerty, Alex Haggerty (Fancy), David Hornsby, Garrett Hornsby, Natalie Hornsby, and Elle Blackburn; great-grandchildren, Paisley Huff, Jackson Huff, Adalyn Sims, and Henley Haggerty; brother, Tony Lowe (Lisa) of Opelika, AL; sisters, Mona Pitts (Ronny) of Alexander City, AL and Melisa Hunter (James) of Dadeville, AL.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Concord Baptist Church or to one’s favorite charity.
