Funeral Services for Doris Armetta McManus Harris of Jackson's Gap, AL will be at Jackson's Gap Baptist Church, Monday, January 7, 2013, at 1 PM. Burial will be in the Jackson's Gap Cemetery. Rev. Charles Horton will officiate. Visitation from 12 Noon until1 PM Monday, January 7, 2013, at Jackson's Gap Baptist Church. Mrs. Harris was born on August 27, 1930 to the late George W. and Velma Boykin McManus and passed away on January 3, 2013, at the age of 82. She was preceded in death by her husband Elgin Lawrence Harris and son Donny Harris. She is survived by daughter Betty Faye Word of Pensacola, FL; daughter Annette Harris of Jackson's Gap, AL; son Marion (Brenda) Harris of Dothan, AL; brother James McManus of Tulsa, OK; daughter-in-law Sara Mayfield Harris of Opelika, AL; nine grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donation may be made in memory of Doris M. Harris to Jackson's Gap Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1, Jackson's Gap, AL 36861.
