Mrs. Pfannenstiel passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Lake Martin Community Hospital. She was born on November 12, 1953 in Dadeville, Alabama to Henry Francis Monroe and Nellie Welcher Monroe. She owned and operated Elaine’s Dairy Bar for many years. Mrs. Elaine lived a simple life; just a phone call, a card, a visit, or a kiss before saying goodnight made her happy. Her family meant the world to her and she lived to make their lives better. She was proud of her family. She made her family feel important and they will never forget that there is a part of her in each of them. She enjoyed talking to others, helping those in need, gave her love to her family and asked for nothing in return.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Pfannenstiel; daughter, Sabrina Davis (Jeremy); grandchildren, Abby Davis, Melanie Davis and Miraina Davis; great-grandchildren, Isabella Sandoval and Madeline Davis, sister, Mary Jo Moncus; brother, James Monroe (Sue); aunt, Inez Monroe; nieces, Tammy Daniel (David) and Caroline Goggins (Jackie); and great nieces, Brandy Barrett (Jamie) and April Goggins; and her extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
