Ms. Eleanor Farrell Chester's Obituary
Eleanor Farrell Chester, age 58, of Auburn, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She was a radiant soul whose kindness and warmth touched all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Farrell was often called “Cinderella” by her friends and family, a reflection of her grace, compassion, and enduring sense of wonder. She had the remarkable ability to make everyone feel special, brightening every room she entered with her gentle spirit and infectious smile. Farrell was a true princess in every sense of the word, always bringing joy, light, and a sense of magic to those around her.
Farrell was preceded in death by her father, Rollie Chester. She is survived by her mother, Adele Chester, sister, Claire Chester, brothers Steve Chester (Cindy), and Ross Chester (Jennings), and nieces and nephews, Ross McCrary (Avery) Margaret Chester, Claire Chester, Crawford Chester, and Elizabeth Chester and her best buddy, Ivy Hughes Sharp.
The funeral service will be at 2pm on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at the Auburn United Methodist Chapel. A private graveside will follow. Farrell may have left this world, but her spirit, beauty, and the love she gave to so many will remain in our hearts forever.
