Mrs. Emma Nell Crouch's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Emma Nell Crouch, 74, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Bro. Miles Crouch and Bro. Terry Carter will officiate. Burial will follow in the Tallapoosa County Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 2, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Langley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Crouch passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at East Alabama Medical Center. She was born on November 23, 1948 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to Curtis and Ruby Baker Hartley. Mrs. Crouch loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren and was affectionally known as “Maw Maw” to them. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and read her Bible daily. Mrs. Emma and her husband traveled and ministered to many people over the years. Mrs. Crouch loved and enjoyed helping anyone at any time with anything she could, she was one of the most selfless persons to ever live. She enjoyed going to thrift stores, yard sales, and buying and selling vehicles.
She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Ann Montgomery of Alexander City, Alabama, and Brenda Tidwell (Darrell) of Dadeville, Alabama; sons, James Donald Crouch (Deborah) of Mobile, Alabama and Robin Wade Crouch of Alexander City, Alabama; grandchildren, Lauren Michelle Reeves (Tyler), Joshua Brett Crouch, Jacob Caleb Tidwell (Kayla), Emily Danielle Crouch, Alexander Jay Collier, Anna Katlyn Ard (Nathan), Craig James Crouch, and Landon Kyle Tidwell (Heather); eight great grandchildren; sisters, Judy Haddox and Elizabeth Payne; and brothers, William Hartley, Walter Hartley (Brenda), and Jeff Hartley (Tracy).
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lester "Jimmy" Crouch; parents; and brothers, Jimmy Lee Hartley, Wayne Hartley, and Winford Hartley.
