Evelyn Evers' Obituary
Graveside service for Miss Evelyn Evers, 85, of Dadeville, will be Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at 3:00 pm at the Eagle Creek Cemetery. Rev. David Johnson will officiate.
Miss Evers passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Dadeville Healthcare Center. She was born on July 24, 1928 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to Andrew Jackson Evers and Pauline Freeman Evers. She enjoyed growing beautiful flowers and cheering for the Alabama Crimson Tide football team. She also enjoyed bird watching, playing rook and bingo with her friends at Dadeville Healthcare.
She is survived by her nieces, Sharon Turner (Steve) of Dadeville, Ann McKelvey (Gaines) of Jackson's Gap, Kay Claybrook (David) of Dadeville, and Twyla Lightsey (Sam Chadwick) of Little Texas, AL; and nephews, Randy Pritchard (Robbie) and Tim Evers both of Dadeville, AL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Lora Evers Burnett and Mary Pritchard Coker; and brother, James Ray Evers.
The family will accept flowers or contributions may be made to the Eagle Creek Cemetery Fund 7734 Horseshoe Bend Road, Dadeville, AL 36853.
