1925-2016
Funeral service for Mrs. Evelyn H. Freeman, 90, of Dadeville, will be Monday, March 7, 2016 at 12:00 pm at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Rev. Wayne Barrett, Mr. Johnny Allen, and Mr. Loyal Pritchard will officiate. Burial will follow in the Tallapoosa County Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 7, 2016 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at Langley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Freeman passed away on Friday, March 4, 2016 at Russell Medical Center. She was born on March 18, 1925 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to John Richard Henderson and Delia Henderson Dyson. She was an active member of County Line Baptist Church. Mrs. Freeman dearly loved her family and taking care of others. She enjoyed flowers and gardening.
She is survived by her daughters, Sue Allen (Johnny), of Camp Hill and Angie Barnes (Ernie), of Dadeville; sons, William Delon Freeman of Opelika and John Michael "Mike" Freeman of Opelika; grandchildren, Taphne Nelson (Zach), Brooke Smith (Zach), Fallon Pierce, Amy Freeman-King, William Scott Freeman, Lisa Pannell (Chad), and Keisha Love (Corey); great-grandchildren, Kent Nelson, Skylar Nelson, Hunter Smith, Hudson Smith, Madison Pierce, Austin Pannell, Tanner Pannell, Jacorey Love, and Jayln Love.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Freeman; parents; grandchild, Tanya McAlister; and thirteen siblings.
The family would like to extend their thanks to Goodwater Healthcare, Russell Medical Center, and Southern Care Hospice for their special care.
