1921-2015
Funeral service for Mrs. Exie Morgan, 93, of Dadeville, will be Sunday, June 14, 2015 at 4:00 pm at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery in Buttston. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 13, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Langley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Morgan passed away on Friday, June 12, 2015 at Dadeville Healthcare Center. She was born on July 2, 1921 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to Eleck Latta and Nannie Stewart Latta. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church. Mrs. Morgan loved everyone she knew and loved all children. She enjoyed quilting, cooking, and jigsaw puzzles. She was an excellent marksman.
She is survived by her daughter, Sara Crouch (Doug), of Dadeville; son, Binford Morgan (Judy), of Camp Hill; grandchildren, Rhonda Partridge (Barry), Angie Elinburg (David), Truitt Crouch (Yonna), LaWanna Nowell (Jim), and Glenn Morgan (Tammy); 9 Great-Grandchildren; sister, Mary Kate Gaither of Fairfax, AL.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Bill Morgan; parents; sister, Flocie Robinson; brothers, Kenneth Laddie, J.C. Latta, and Olin Latta.
