Sandra, we haven't seen each other in years..families grow and spread apart, but I have fond memories of visiting your family when we were children. I always thought Aunt Florine had the best sense of humor and enjoyed the times I was around her. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this time..but I'm sure Aunt Florine is kicking up her heels and sharing a laugh the rest of the family in heaven!
Love you,
Irene Moore (Charlie & Hester Hodges' daughter)

i always loved a visit to see Aunt Florine. When she lived down the road from Grandmother & Granddaddy McDaniel, we shared a lot of good memories. My condolences to Sandra & her family. I had lost track of where she was. With love, Pat Payne Porter
So sorry to hear about Mrs. Florine, she was my church buddy when she lived in Opelika and we joined Farmville Baptist Church at the same time. She could always lift your spirits with her laughter! She loved her family dearly! Praying for your family!

So sorry to hear that Ms. Flo passed. She and Mom (Nell Clark) were dear friends and had the best times together. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

When I think of Mrs. Florine -- aka "Flo Bo" -- I see her as she was in 1975, when she chaperoned a youth choir trip for the Sonshine Singers of Camp Hill Baptist Church. We went to south Alabama and the Florida panhandle, singing in different churches and staying in the homes of church members.
Flo Bo had everything that we needed in her purse and kept us entertained on the long car ride, in those long ago days when there were no cell phones, ipads or in-car movies to keep us occupied. She was so much fun to be around and always made us laugh ... even when about 10 girls needed to wash their long hair at the same time because it smelled like dead fish!
I am sure that she is laughing in heaven now with Cindy, Melvin and the others she loved so much.
