Mrs. Frances (Fran) Lora Merrill's Obituary
A Celebration of Life Graveside Service for Frances (Fran) Lora Merrill, 81, of Marion, TX will be held Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 10:00 am at Tallapoosa Memory Gardens in Dadeville, AL. Rev. Wayne Cowhick will officiate.
An angel gained her heavenly wings this week. As much heartbreak as it has been to watch her go, I am sure she danced her way into heaven with that beautiful smile and eyes lit up. She had a tiny body, but the biggest heart, and was everyone’s prayer warrior. What an inspiration you are to us. Our love and admiration will never fade. We will miss you until we see each other again.
Fran was surrounded by family and passed away peacefully in her home on March 1, 2018.
She is survived by her brother, Russel (Ginny) Estridge of Duluth, WI; son, Ron (Renay) Baumgardner of Montgomery, AL; daughter, Becky (Bobby) Cleveland of Alexander City, AL; son, Russell (Terri) Woods of Schertz, TX; grandchildren, Eric Baumgardner of Birmingham, AL; Dylan Baumgardner of Atlanta, GA; Mindy O’Brien of Auburn, AL; Kristin Springer, Amanda Rogers, Allison Woods and Katie Woods of Schertz, TX and 6 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene (Gene) L. Merrill; parents William (Bill) Estridge and Norma Louise Cunningham Estridge; and brother Richard (Dick) Estridge.
All are welcome to attend and celebrate Fran’s life. In lieu of flowers please send donation to a charity of your choice.
