Mrs. Gail W. Brown's Obituary
Graveside Service for Mrs. Gail W. Brown, 79, of Opelika, Alabama and formerly of Dadeville, Alabama will be Monday, January 9, 2023 at 12:00 pm at the Dadeville City Cemetery. Rev. Marvin Minton will officiate.
Mrs. Brown passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2023. She was born on November 12, 1943 in Boaz, Alabama during a snow storm on Sand Mountain to Joseph and Reba White Wigley. Mrs. Brown was retired from Petrey Wholesale and a member of Union Grove Baptist Church. She loved taking care of and spending time with Doug for many years. Mrs. Brown also enjoyed visits from her church family and friends, and she had a passion for sewing, and cross stitching things for others.
She is survived by her sons, William Jeff Brown (Kathy) of Jacksons Gap, Alabama and Doug Brown of Opelika, Alabama; grandchildren, Ethan Brown (Lauren) and Elena Palfreeman (Antonio); great-grandchildren, Maxton Brown and Bridger Palfreeman; and niece, Amy Brown (Dallas).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Frank Brown, parents and sister, Linda Whitfield.
