Mr. Gerald Ditchkoff's Obituary
Memorial Service for Mr. Gerald Spiro Ditchkoff, 74, of Dadeville, will be, February 21, 2020 at 11:00 am at St John the Apostle Catholic church. Father Thomas will officiate.
Mr. Ditchkoff passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at East Alabama Medical Center. He was born on November 23, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan to Spiro Ditchkoff and Lula Mae Savage Ditchkoff. He attended St John the Apostle Catholic Church. Mr. Ditchkoff was honorable discharged from the U.S. Army. He retired from Lockheed Martin in Marietta, GA as a Master Painter. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Jerry was a workaholic and enjoyed working and helping others. He was an excellent cook and enjoyed entertaining. He loved his family very much and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Jane Ditchkoff of Dadeville: son, Eric Ditchkoff of Austell, GA: daughter, Krista Ditchkoff of Austell, GA, step-sons, Glenn Hitt (Barbara) of Acworth, GA and JasonHitt (Shawn) of Camp Hill: step-daughters, Selena Hitt of Dallas, GA and Maranda Hitt of Jasper, GA: grandchildren, Cassie, Dezaray, Brandie, Matthew, Chris, Jeremy, Randy, Justin, Scotty, Kimberly,Chase, Bobbie and Jeremiah: twenty great grandchildren: sisters, Gloria Kewak of Summerfield, FL and Georgia White of Tulsa, OK: brothers, Carl Gligoroff (Marilyn) of Rock Hill, SC and Stephen Ditchkoff (Marilynn) of Delaware, OH.
He was preceeded in death by his parents: and his twin brother, Eli Spiro Ditchkoff.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given, In Memory of Mr. Ditchkoff, to the American Cancer Society 3054-C McGhee Road, Montgomery, AL, 36111.
