Mrs. Ginger Alice Davis Carlisle's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Ginger Alice Davis Carlisle, 66, of Jackson's Gap, will be Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Jackson's Gap Baptist Church. Rev. Charlie Horton will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 28, 2024 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Jackson's Gap Baptist Church.
Mrs. Carlisle passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, December 26, 2024 at her residence. Ginger was born on September 6, 1958 in Alexander City to Johnny Thomas Davis and Alice Carolyn Berry Davis. She recently retired after 25 years of service at Dadeville High School. Ginger was involved with the Jackson's Gap Community Club for many years, serving multiple roles, including president, vice-president, and secretary. She spent many years serving as the Team Mom for her daughter's softball team at Dadeville High School. Ginger was a faithful member of Jackson's Gap Baptist Church. She was a wonderful wife to her husband, Leslie, a loving mother to her four children, and above all, she adored her six grandchildren and was always there to support anything they were involved in.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Leslie Carlisle of Jackson's Gap; daughter, Candy (Brady) Crocker of Wadley; sons, David Carlisle of Jackson's Gap, John Carlisle of Wadley, and Jason (Sherry) Petty of Pelham; grandchildren, George Carlisle, Nic Carlisle, Owen Carlisle, Rebecca Crocker, Kyle Crocker, and Alice Crocker; sister, Lila (Jim) McGill; brothers, Glen Davis and Gary (Terri) Davis; daughter-in-law, Lori Carlisle; brother-in-law Todd Carlisle.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
