Mrs. Helen C. Pugh's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Helen C. Pugh, 94, of Dadeville, Alabama, will be Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Rev. Stephen King will officiate. Burial will follow in the Tallapoosa County Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm at Langley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Pugh passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023 at Jackson Hospital. She was born on February 13, 1929 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to Eddie Benjamin Casaday and Ida Bell Pitchford Casaday. She was a member of Sardis Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. For 20+ years, she worked for the Bank of Camp Hill and the Bank of Dadeville. She enjoyed working word search books, reading, cross-stitching, needlework and baking pound cakes. For the last five years, Mrs. Pugh has been a resident at The Veranda. She enjoyed playing bingo, working on puzzles, and fellowshipping with the other residents. She loved her family very much and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her son, Rodney Pugh (Carol) of Dadeville; grandson, Brandon Pugh (Kaley) of Eclectic; great-grandchild, Nash Pugh; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 63 years, Roy C. Pugh; brother, James Leo Casaday; and sisters, Dorothy Melvin, Betty Reaves and Hilda Beltz.
