Graveside service for Mr. Hilson LaDon Hardy, 86, of Dadeville, will be Friday, April 24, 2015 at 3:00 pm at the Tallapoosa Memory Gardens. Rev. Larry Cummings will officiate.
Mr. Hardy passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Russell Medical Center. He was born on September 17, 1928 in Dothan, Alabama to Haston Franklin Hardy and Martha Nona Foreman Hardy. He was an active member of Southlawn Baptist. He enjoyed restoring old cars and building. He was a hard worker with a dry sense of humor. He worked as the used car manager for Barnes Lincoln Mercury in Montgomery and also owned used car lots in Montgomery and Ft. Walton Beach, FL.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jean B. Branton Hardy of Dadeville; son, Ronnie Allen Hardy (Rhonda), of Dadeville; daughters, Debbie Howard of Montgomery and Gloria Jean Kirkland of Prattville; grandchildren, Alecia Sample, Michael Hancock, Allison Howard, Kim Polhemus, and Brian Hardy; and 8 Great-Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Clifton Hardy.
