Funeral service for Ms. Hobbie Jean Knight, 64, of Dadeville, will be Sunday, September 6, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Bro. Miles Crouch will officiate. Burial will follow in the Tallapoosa County Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 6, 2015 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Langley Funeral Home.
Ms. Knight passed away on Friday, September 4, 2015 at East Alabama Medical Center. She was born on June 11, 1951 in Alexander City, Alabama to Hobson Knight and Elma Monroe Knight. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and she enjoyed worshipping there. She loved Gospel Music and would listen to it for hours on her stereo and has traveled near and far to gospel concerts. She was an excellent Rook player and enjoyed keeping children. She had worked at Dadeville Convalescent Home as a nurse’s aide.
She is survived by several cousins including Ruby Cleckler of Dadeville.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
