Mrs. Hollon Louise Washburn's Obituary
Louise Bishop Washburn, age 87, passed away peacefully in Dadeville, Alabama on May 12, 2017. She is preceded in death by husband H. Roy "Skeeter" Washburn Jr, parents, and eight siblings. She is survived by daughter Nancy Kolen (Mike), son H.R. "Chipper" Washburn III (Marcia), daughter Jennifer "Jenny" Moeller (Chet), son Johnny Washburn (Jennifer), grandchildren Kelly Kolen Morris (Duncan), Aimee Washburn Comer (Heith), John Kolen, H. Roy Washburn IV (Inge), Rachel Moeller Harrison (Brian), Trey Moeller, Will Washburn, Henry Washburn, Emily Washburn, twenty great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Louise was loved by many and was a talented cook, as many will miss her cakes, divinity, and famous cheese straws. She will be sorely missed by all that knew her.
The family will receive friends at First Baptist Church, Dadeville on Tuesday, May 16th from 9:30 to 10:30 with the funeral following at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at the Dadeville City Cemetery.
