Hope passed away on Friday, June 23, 2023 at Hospice Family Care after her battle with cancer. She was born on October 14, 1985 in Alexander City, Alabama to Jimmy Michael Buffkin and Tammy Jean Ford Palmer.
Hope was a free spirit who was known for her kindness, love, and servant's heart who never lost her smile or joyful spirit even when she had gotten sick. She was the kind of person who never met a stranger and always wanted to help people. Her goal was to always lift up everyone's spirit around her. Hope was hardworking and started her first job at 15 years old working at Hardee's. She then started working for Aviagen Inc. where she continued for 10 years. In high school, she enjoyed playing in the marching band. Her talent continued into being active on TikTok. She was well loved on social media and became so close to her followers that they became family. Hope was always the first one to tell her TikTok family "Good Morning," and they were always there to support her. Her family knew her as a wonderful child and a loving adult who was very much loved by all. She loved her family especially her daughters, niece, and nephew. Like her name, she gave Hope to all that knew her. Her smile and joyful spirit will always be remembered.
She is survived by her mother, Tammy Jean Palmer; father, Jimmy Michael (Kathy) Buffkin; daughters, Morgan Smith, Dakota Smith; brothers, Jimmy Michael Buffkin, II, Ridge Michael (Taylor) Buffkin; sisters, Candice (Jonathan) Buffkin, Michelle Buffkin; grandmother, Shelby Ford; aunt, Maggie (Clyde) Daily; uncle, Jimmy Ford; niece, Emmie-Kate Buffkin; nephew, Austin Daniel Lockerman; great-aunt, Nancy Ford; stepfather, Wayne (Barbara) Carmack.
