Funeral Service for Mr. Hubert Earl Simpson, Jr., 53, of Columbiana, will be Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Langley Funeral Home. Rev. Jud Waldrop and Rev. Rodney Prickett will officiate. Burial will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Langley Funeral Home.
Earl passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021 in Columbiana. He was born on July 14, 1967 in Anniston, Alabama to Hubert Earl Simpson, Sr. and Margie Trotman Laddie. Earl was a hard worker and provider for his family. He loved his family very much, especially his grandchildren. He was a roofer by trade and he enjoyed hunting in his younger years and fishing.
Earl is survived by his daughters, Morgan Bernier (Charles) of Childersburg, Alexis Simpson of Columbiana and Kayla Hernandez (Orestes) of Shelby; grandchildren, Iszic Braxton Bernier, Charlie Ahrainah Joy Bernier, Malachai Xavier Bernier and Carson Orestes Hernandez; sisters, Donna Lynn Waldrop (Jud) of Abbeville and Misty Dawn Simpson of Richmond, VA; brother, JC Laddie (Amber) of KY; and a host of other family members and friends
He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert Earl Simpson, Sr.; mother, Margie Laddie; and step-father, Manuel Laddie.
