Mr. Jack Christopher Adamson's Obituary
Funeral service for Mr. Jack Christopher Adamson, 60, of Jacksons Gap, Alabama, will be Monday, March 20, 2023 at 3:00 pm at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Rev. Stephen King will officiate. Burial will follow in the Bethel Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 20, 2023 from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm at Langley Funeral Home.
Mr. Adamson passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Emory Decatur Hospital. He was born on May 12, 1962 in Decatur, Georgia to Charles Farrel Adamson and Lucy Ashmore Adamson. Chris loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren. Chris was a hard worker and enjoyed carpentry. He also enjoyed fishing, riding dirt roads, being on the water, pontoon boat rides, hiking, being in nature, and watching the Weather Channel. Chris was an avid Auburn football and classic rock fan.
He is survived by his mother, Lucy Adamson; son, Christopher Arron Adamson; daughters, Sarah Ann Wood (Shannon Davis) and Cherokee Virginia Autumn Wood; brothers, Charles Keith Adamson (Bridget) and David Cory Adamson; grandchildren, John "J.J." Farrel Adamson, Jr., Adarian Isaiah Adamson, and Ansley C. Kitchens; girlfriend, Paulette Davis and several nieces and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Farrel Adamson and son, John Farrel Adamson.
