Funeral Service for Mr. James Ronald "Ronny" Hamby, 83, of Dadeville, Alabama, will be Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Rev. Freddie Senn will officiate. Burial will follow in the Tall Read Obituary
The first time we met Ron was when my brother Gary was marrying his sister Martha. We went to the Hamby's house to meet the wonderful family and laughed so much. The Southern hospitality was perfect! My father and Ron worked together at Huntsville International Airport. I was lucky enough to have met and spent a lot of time with Ron. When I became a recovering alcoholic 21 years ago, Ron gave me a dollar to call him if I ever needed anything. I still have the dollar in my wallet and the fond memories of Ron playing golf in the Frank Mickle tournament. Thank you for all the good times Ron. God Bless!
