Funeral Service for Mrs. Janice G. Tomlin, 71, of Opelika, will be Sunday, January 13, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home in Camp Hill. Evangelist Jeremy Goodson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Union M Read Obituary
Miss. Janice was a wife, mother, grandmother, caregiver and had a heart of gold. She loved her family very much. She will be greatly missed by so many who knew and loved her. Prayers for peace and comfort for the family. You can Rest In Peace now sweet lady.
I worked for Jan for a long time , we went through a lot of hairstylists together !!! I bet her and pat smith are getting in trouble as we speak in heaven right now !! I know her first question when she got to heaven was , where is all the gambling done? she was awesome!!!
I am so very sorry to learn about Janice's passing. She was a remarkable person, always witty and cheerful in spite of health problems and other burdens. The relationship between hairdresser and client is close and special, and Janice was my dear friend for about ten years. I lost touch after she retired, but my memories of her are happy and full of admiration. My deepest sympathies go to Joe and the rest of the family, of whom she often spoke with love and pride.

My aunt was so lively and full of Goodson vigor. She was a cosmetologist, so looking beautiful and young was very important to her and to share with her clients. I believe I was 14 and I remember visiting her and she came up to me and asked if I used a good face cream and I said I am only 14 and she replied “ Well don’t you want to look that young when your old?” So when people ask me how do I keep my skin so youthful I give my Aunt Jan all the credit. I love you Aunt Jan, you will be missed greatly.
