Jeffrey Lynn Hartley, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away surrounded by his loving family. Jeffrey was a beacon of love and faith throughout his life, touching the hearts of all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of generosity and kindness that will be fondly remembered by his family and community.
Born to the late Curtis Melvin Hartley and Ruby Nell Hartley, Jeffrey was a man of strong Christian faith. He grew up alongside his siblings, and although he was preceded in death by Emma Nell Crouch, Judy Ann Haddox, Jimmy Lee Hartley, Curtis Winford Hartley, and Albert Wayne Hartley, his brothers William Allen Hartley and Walter Melvin (Brenda) Hartley, as well as his sister Libby Payne, will continue to honor his memory.
Jeffrey's life was enriched by his loving spouse, Tracey Lynn Hartley of Dadeville, AL. Together, they built a life full of joy and laughter. His children, Curtis Joseph (Jessica) Hartley of Auburn, AL, Samantha Cheryl (Davey) Bunn, Ariel L. Hartley, and Curt Hartley, were the pride of his life. He instilled in them the values of love, humor, and the importance of family. Jeffrey's grandchildren, Zoe Hartley, Zaine Hartley, Colton Bunn, Annabel Bunn, Daniel Keller II, Jacqueline Milsap, Joslynn Milsap, and Jalin Aron Hartley, were the light of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
An avid Alabama Football fan, Jeffrey's enthusiasm for the game was infectious. He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, such as fishing in the serene Alabama waters and working on cars. His ability to fix anything was nothing short of remarkable, and he often lent his skills to those in need, always with a joke at the ready to lighten the mood.
Jeffrey's love for his children and grandchildren was unparalleled. He took great pleasure in their achievements and was always there to offer support or a word of encouragement. His generous spirit extended beyond his family, as he was always willing to help a friend or neighbor in need.
To describe Jeffrey as loving, faith-filled, and generous only scratches the surface of the man he was. His laughter, his unwavering support, his dedication to his family, and his strong Christian values will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
As we say goodbye to Jeffrey Lynn Hartley, we celebrate a life well-lived-a life filled with love, laughter, and a deep commitment to faith and family. His memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones and the many lives he touched. Jeffrey's spirit will continue to inspire us all to live with kindness, generosity, and a sense of humor that can brighten the darkest of days.
