Mrs. Jennie Merle Taylor's Obituary
Graveside Service for Mrs. Jennie Merle Taylor, 77, of Dadeville, will be Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Tallapoosa County Memory Gardens. Rev. Jimmy Sims will officiate.
Mrs. Taylor passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at UAB Palliative Care. She was born on November 16, 1945 in Brundidge, Alabama to John Henry and Margaret Leatherwood Sanders. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren and was lovingly know as “Maw Maw”. Mrs. Taylor loved celebrating Easter and enjoyed gardening, fishing, and cooking.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Clayton Taylor; daughter, Susan Harrelson; sons, Alan Taylor (Enid) and Chris Taylor (Jennie); grandchildren, Robin Lynn Allen (Trey), Anna Marie Barron (Zack), Quinn Harrelson, Jeremiah Clayton Taylor (Aly), Celina Taylor, Hunter Mize, Danielle Mize, and Jaylee Jacobs; five great-grandchildren; and brothers, James Sanders (Merle) and Bill Sanders (Debra).
She was preceded in death by her parents.
