Mrs. Joyce Gladys Cochran's Obituary
Memorial Service for Mrs. Joyce Gladys Cochran, 87, of Dadeville, Alabama will be at Red Ridge United Methodist Church on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 3:30 pm. Rev. Vicki Cater will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 16, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm at the church.
Joyce passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at her residence. She was born on January 24, 1935 in Brooklyn, New York to Phil and Gladys Kinnish Salmon. Joyce loved her family dearly and treasured her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Red Ridge United Methodist Church. Joyce loved watching sunsets on Lake Martin, playing Scrabble with her StillWaters friends, and feeding the birds on her balcony.
She is survived by her son, Jeff Cochran; grandchildren, Brandon Dedrel, Ashleigh DeOtis, Thomas DeOtis, Taylor Cochran, and Jonathon Cochran; great-grandson, Jayden DeOtis; and brother, Phil Salmon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Cochran; daughter, Jo Alice DeOtis; parents, Phil and Gladys Kinnish Salmon; and sister, Betty Frissel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Red Ridge United Methodist Church, 8091 County Road 34, Dadeville, Alabama 36853.
