Ms. Julia Ann Burnett's Obituary
Funeral Service for Ms. Julia Ann Burnett, 79, of Auburn, Alabama, will be Sunday, March 17, 2019 at 3:00 pm at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Rev. Tim Davis will officiate. Burial will follow in the Tallapoosa County Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 17, 2019 from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm at Langley Funeral Home.
Ms. Burnett passed away on Friday, March 15, 2019 at Oak Park Nursing Home. She was born on November 18, 1939 in Tallassee, Alabama to James Leroy Gibson and Iris Merle Coan Gibson. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church. Ms. Burnett enjoyed playing cards, singing and growing flowers. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart.
She is survived by her children, Kim B. Vest (William) of Wetumpka, Timothy J. Bass (Somer) of Valley, Brad Bass (Amy) of Opelika, Eric Crabtree of GA, and April Burdell (Wayne) of Opelika; twelve grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sisters, Nelda Steele and Iris Robinson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Frances Griffith; and brother, Charles Leroy Gibson.
