Memorial Service for Kay Parker Murray Williams will be Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church Dadeville. Bro. Hunter Baker will officiate.
Kay left this world on March 11, 2024, at the age of 77. Born on November 23, 1946, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Kay carried the warmth and charm of the South throughout her life.
She touched countless lives during her commendable tenure at SunTrust Bank, where she dedicated over 25 years of service. She was an active member of the Exchange Club and participated in various clubs throughout her time there.
Kay was often remembered as Little Miss Sunbeam. Kay had an enduring love for music that transcended genres, monthly meetings with her cherished bunco group for over three decades, time spent with her friends on cruise adventures, and embraced the joys of good food. Moreover, her pride in her family was deep and unwavering.
She held precious every moment spent with those she loved, including her extended family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Whitney Rice (Jeff); son, Devin Murray (Emily); grandchildren Britney Petrosky(Nick), Shelby Howell(Kyle), Jeff Rice Jr.(Rachael), Tiffany Womble(Masun), Jackson Rice, Dean Murray, Emma James Murray, Preston Murray, Brooks Murray; and great-grandchildren Murray Howell, and John Martin Petrosky. They will continue to remember Kay's life, alongside their father and grandfather Jim Murray.
She was preceded in death by her infant son, Ryan Patrick Murray; mother, Mary Frances Hamlin; father, Woodrow Odis Parker; brothers, George T. Parker, James Odis Parker; and sister Linda Parker Skinner.
