Ms. Kayla Hamby Goggins' Obituary
Funeral Service for Ms. Kayla Hamby Goggins, 34, of Dadeville, Alabama, will be Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at 3:00 pm at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Mr. Robb Scofield will officiate. Burial will follow in the Tallapoosa County Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm at Langley Funeral Home.
Kayla passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Piedmont Hospital in Conyers, GA. She was born on January 6, 1989 in Opelika, Alabama to Larry Wayne Hamby Jr. and Christie S. Farrow. Kayla was a wonderful mother, daughter, granddaughter, and sister. The light of her life and best friend, was her daughter, Lynn-Leigh. They spent countless hours playing dress up, watching movies, and eating out. She enjoyed spending time with her family shopping, taking family trips and was an avid Auburn Tigers fan.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Christie S. and Brandon Farrow; father and stepmother, Larry Wayne Jr. and Molly Hamby; daughter, Lynn-Leigh Kay Goggins; sister, Karleigh Hamby (Jackson Baker); brothers, Kyle Hamby, Curt Sanders, Connor Sanders; grandfather, Tom Pemberton; grandparents, Larry and Kay Hamby; aunt and uncle, Tracey P. and Shawn Harrelson; aunt and uncle, Misha and Don Cherry and a host of nieces, nephews aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Dylan Hamby; grandmother, Sandra K. Pemberton; stepfather, Dwayne Sanders and aunt, Kathryn Lori Hamby.
