Mr. Walter Lance Burson's Obituary
Memorial Service for Mr. Walter Lance Burson, 39, of Sharpsburg, GA and formerly of Dadeville, will be Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Rev. Richie Farrow will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 from 12:30 pm to 1:45 pm at Langley Funeral Home.
Mr. Burson passed away on Friday, June 16, 2017 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. He was born on September 8, 1977 in Lineville, Alabama to Jim Burson and Brenda Yates Fuller. He was a past member of First Baptist Church Dadeville and a member of SonRise Baptist Church in Bowden, GA. Lance grew up in Dadeville and graduated from Dadeville High School in 1996. He loved sports and enjoyed playing football and baseball. Lance served in the U.S. Army and the National Guard and was proud of his service to his country, having served an active tour following 9/11.
Lance is survived by his mother, Brenda Fuller (Mike) of Orange Beach; daughter, Kaedyn Burson of Montgomery; sisters, Angie White (Matt) of Auburn and Chris Fields (Dale) of Hamilton Mill, GA; several nieces and nephews; and aunts and uncles, Joyce Prestridge (Wayne), Gail Widener (Paul), Juone Yates and Jo Teed (Terry).
He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Burson; and grandparents, Mammie Lou and Clyde Yates, and Nettie and Lavell Burson.
