Mr. Larkin Rape's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mr. Larkin Rape, 84, of Opelika, will be Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Tallapoosa County Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm at Langley Funeral Home.
Mr. Rape passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at George H. Lanier Memorial Hospital in Valley. He was born on March 3, 1934 in LaGrange, Georgia to Fredrick Columbus Rape and Lessie Mae Baker Rape.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary June Rape of Opelika; daughters, Billie Joanna Mezick (Jimmy) of Valley and Shirlene Stewart (David) of Opelika; sons, Robert Lewis Rape of Opelika and Jerry Pitts Rape (Kim) of Opelika; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; brother, Henry Rape of Florida and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Jewel Pitts, Katie McAlpin and Dorothy McClendon; and brothers, Fred Rape, Charlie Rape and Lloyd Rape.
